On March 18 and 19, in Minsk, at two different platforms (The National Art Museum and hotel Beijing) Tea Masters Cup Belarus 2017 was held.
Aleksandr Brazhnikov became the winner in Tea Mixology and Tea Pairing. Kiril Parchinsky became the winner in Tea Tasting. Svetlana Verametska became the winner in Tea Preparation.
Hello, friends! My name is Aleksandr Brazhnikov, I’m 30 years old. I represent Belarus at TMC International. I have been working as a barman for 9 years. Greetings to everybody! My name is Svetlana Verametska. Me and tea have been together for 5 years. I love the mood made by tea. And I believe that if you make wood yourself you will be warmed up twice. That is why making tea makes me as happy as drinking tea. Tea for me is first of all beauty and harmony and I am glad that these two wonderful things can be found together in tea. My favourite tea is red tea with a drop of milk in it. This is example of the most fruitful combination of two tastes and colours each of them being beautiful in itself but together they work much better. And a cup of tea with milk reminds me of Life itself because when we put smth together we get wonderful picture, story or melody.
My name is Parchinsky Kiril and I am 25 y.o. I work in a restaurant where I often have to work with tea. I have always been keen on tea but I started to go deeper into it 4 years ago. And it happened not only because of my work requirements but because I love tea culture with which I got acquainted in one of Minsk tea clubs. And this is how tea has become my favourite hobby. One more hobby of mine helped me to show good results in tea tasting — wine culture which develops taste and nose. TMC Belarus was a very interesting event for me and connected me to tea culture even more. I am very happy that I will present my country at world TMC! I am waiting for a new experience and impressions.
