At 12.00 pm, 19th of March, 2016, on the top floor at main stage of Mercure Riga Centre Hotel, Latvia officially hosted the 3rd Tea Masters Cup Latvia 2016 (TMC LV 2016).
This final national round was held by the tea event creation agency XCHAIRIGA in official partnership with “Latvian Tea Fellowship” and brand-tea trading company “Red Seal Tea” under the framework of II International Esoteric Festival “Destiny’s Gift” — one of the most interesting and beautiful esoteric and self-knowledge events for people, tea lovers and tea customers, which took place in the heart of capital of Latvia, vibrant Riga. Tea company “Balzamiko” acted as a sponsor of TMC LV 2016. And there are four other co-partners tea houses: Iluseum (Whole-Sale Trading Company and Tea House), Kama Tea Hub (Atmospheric Tea House), Materia (Tea House), Apsara (Tea House).
These seven unique tea people from Latvia have participated and competed in three categories: Tea Preparation, Tea Pairing and Tea Tasting. They all demonstrated brilliant performance of tea preparation, tea tasting and tea pairing and showed their professional technical skills, poetic and charismatic abilities.
After two short final days of intensive competition, TMC LV 2016 chose and handed trophy awards to three champions in three nominations: Vivienne “Northern Light” Petrovska –– champion in Tea Preparation. Andrey “A.N.D” Ivanov — champion in Tea Pairing. Kunti Horsta — champion in Tea Tasting. Alexey “SINHA” Kundius — Award from “Balzamiko” as “The Best Spiritual Performance”. Andrey “A.N.D.” Ivanov — Award from “Turqouise Tea” as “Best Organo-Leptic Composition”.
Furthermore, two free-style brewing tea masters Anastasia Remmeh-Kozlovska and Gregory Sverdlik support all visitors and guests of TMC LV 2016 with their brewing tea action.
Latvian Tea Team will be sent to compete in the international final round of Tea Masters Cup 2016 in South Korea, Seul.
