We are pleased to announce that the International Finals of Tea Masters Cup (cycle 2018-2019) will be held in China on March 21-23.
Participants of Tea Masters Cup International will go to the homeland of tea — China. The tournament will be held in Nanchuan (a district of Chongqing). Chongqing has a significant history and culture. Being one of China’s National Central Cities, it serves as the economic center of the upstream Yangtze basin. Nanchuan is located on the border with Guizhou Province and is famous for Jinfo Mountain.
Tea masters and guests from more than 25 countries will witness and participate in a grand tea event — competitions of national champions from different countries in 4 categories: Tea Preparation, Tea Pairing, Tea Mixology and Tea Tasting.
On March 24, the competition being over, guests and tea masters will be able to join a tea journey, visit ancient tea trees, get to know the tea of the region and learn about its culture, as well as enjoy the reviving energy of magnificent nature.
Tea Masters Cup International 2019 will be organized in cooperation with the China Chamber of Commerce of I/E of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-Products (CFNA).
The preliminary schedule of TMCI-2019:
— March 20 — participants’ arrival at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.
— March 21–23 — Tea Masters Cup International competitions in the four categories.
— March 24 — a tour to ancient tea trees.
— March 25 — departure.
