We are forced to inform you that the championship planned for March 21-23 in Chongqing in China is cancelled due to the massive spread of coronavirus in the country. Unfortunately, the situation with the virus is getting worse and there is a tendency of closing borders between countries, so we cannot put the guests and participants of our event at risk.
We are very worried about Chinese people and hope that the situation in China will return to normal in the nearest future. We sincerely apologize for the cancellation of the championship and ask for your understanding and support.
We still continue to monitor dynamics of the situation around the coronavirus problem and hope that by the beginning of March we will be able to decide about the future of the world championship. Now we need a little time to consider all the alternative championship options and announce you the exact location and dates.
At the same time, we assure you that if the global world situation stabilizes, we plan to hold TMCI 2019 in the first half of this year and TMCI 2020 in the second half of this year.
